The GP
Mediation Associate serves as the primary liaison between General Partners
(GPs), internal data processing teams, client teams, and other stakeholders to
ensure timely, accurate, and complete data collection and delivery. The role
combines relationship management, data operations, issue resolution, and
process coordination to improve data quality and strengthen GP engagement.
GP
Relationship Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for
assigned GP relationships.
- Build and maintain trusted
relationships with GP finance, investor relations, operations, and
reporting teams.
- Conduct regular follow-ups regarding
outstanding data requests, reporting deliverables, and data quality
issues.
- Understand each GP's reporting
processes, timelines, and operational challenges.
- Drive proactive communication to
minimize delays and escalations.
Data
Collection & Mediation
- Coordinate collection of fund
financials, capital account statements, cash flows, valuations, and
portfolio company data.
- Mediate between GPs and internal teams
to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage data delivery timelines and
ensure adherence to agreed SLAs.
- Track data request status and follow
through to completion.
- Escalate unresolved issues
appropriately while maintaining positive GP relationships.
Data
Quality & Validation
- Review incoming data for completeness,
consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify anomalies, gaps, and
inconsistencies in GP submissions.
- Work with GPs to obtain corrections
and support documentation.
- Ensure audit trails and documentation
are maintained for all communications and resolutions.
- Support data quality improvement
initiatives across assigned GP relationships.
Stakeholder
