Key Responsibilities
- Provide sound and well-researched investment advice on funds and fund-related matters to the sales team.
- Adhere to the CIO Office's strategy and outlook, and communicate clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders through publications and presentations.
- Assist the Team Lead in constructing, monitoring, and managing the Funds Model Portfolio (FMP) used by sales teams for client recommendations.
- Assist in formulating, monitoring, and reviewing the Recommended Funds list, covering global, regional, and local markets across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, multi-asset, money market, private equity, and REITs/real estate.
- Keep the sales team updated on developments, key trends, and outlooks relating to Recommended Funds.
- Prepare and publish fund reviews and analytical reports on fund performance, as well as thematic and ad hoc reports.
- Assist in the evaluation of new and potential funds for inclusion on the product shelf.
- Attend updates conducted by fund houses and/or fund managers. Maintain and build relationships with asset management personnel, including fund managers, sales teams, and product teams.
- Assist sales teams with client investment proposals and portfolio reviews, and respond to queries from relationship managers.
- Attend client meetings, upon request from sales teams, to provide investment advisory services tailored to clients' portfolios, risk appetites, and investment needs.
- Support and contribute to the development and implementation of fund products, investment strategies, and ad hoc projects that contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Requirements
- Must have completed Modules 12 and 19 examinations.
- Prior experience and knowledge in mutual funds will be an advantage.
