The Associate Financial Planning & Analysis Director, Biosimilars will lead global financial planning, forecasting, and analytics for the company's biosimilars portfolio, including both wholly owned and partnered assets. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner to Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, and Business Development teams, delivering rigorous financial insights to support pricing, contracting, market selection, and investment decisions. The role requires a proactive, analytics driven leader with deep experience in both accounting and finance, capable of driving improved operating and gross profit outcomes in a dynamic, competitive environment.
Essential Functions:
Global Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Own and manage the global revenue forecast for the biosimilars portfolio, including internal products and partnered assets.
- Lead forecasting and financial analysis for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), incorporating manufacturing, supply chain, and lifecycle considerations. Analytical insight to drive cost improvement opportunities as well as spend control measures.
- Partner cross functionally to support accurate forecasting of R&D and Sales & Marketing (S&M) expenses.
- Integrate financial forecasts into long range plans, annual operating plans, and scenario analyses.
Analytics, Profitability & Decision Support
- Drive advanced analytics to identify opportunities to improve gross margin, operating profit, and return on investment.
- Develop and maintain robust scenario models (e.g., pricing, contracting structures, market access, volume sensitivity, competitor entry).
- Identify and evaluate niche and underserved market opportunities within the biosimilars landscape.
- Support pricing, contracting, and tender strategies through financial modeling and profitability assessments.
- Provide decision support and financial insight to commercial leadership to guide go to market strategies.
Business Partnership & Leadership
- Management reporting of the Biosimilar business.
- Provide clear, actionable financial narratives and recommendations to senior management.
- Improve financial processes, tools, and data quality to enable faster and better decision making.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation or value creation actions.
- Collaborate with Commercial functions and Operating expense functions on developing long-range forecasts as well as ad-hoc project analyses to support the business.
- Ad hoc FP&A function support.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Accounting or Finance - Required
- Master's Degree (MBA) - Preferred
Experience:
- 8 years or more Experience with both accounting and FP&A required over approximately 8 or more years career in finance. Experience components desired are below:
- 3+ years experience in financial analysis and management reporting, demonstrating an ability to work with business partners
- 3+ years experience proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders regarding finance processes, guidelines and compliances
- 3+ years experience forecasting and analysis experience – can be within FP&A or other finance or accounting functions
- 5+ years experience in Pharmaceuticals, including experience with reporting and revenues
- 2+ years experience in Accounting
Specialized Knowledge:
- Knowledge of data analytics
- Excellent Excel skills a must
Licenses:
- CPA preferred
The base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $190,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
