Who You Are:
We are seeking a software engineer to join our Financial Engineering team; where you'll take on a critical role in ensuring the Finance team technical needs are met. You will be primarily responsible for identifying key issues impacting business, supporting, maintaining and optimizing existing systems.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial applications in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
You should have a at least 3 years in software development, primarily Python/SQL, with the ability to navigate systems built on other languages as needed, and genuine interest in crypto and finance.
You should have the ability to work independently, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a desire to own issues and see them through to resolution.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide first-line support to internal clients. This involves dealing with queries from clients and identifying and resolving issues
- Collaborate with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions
- Work with internal clients to develop new solutions
- Contribute to new Finance Engineering initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience communicating and providing first-line support for business clients
- 3+ years programming in Python (working knowledge of Pandas/PySpark)
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with AWS (S3, Secrets, etc.)
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and navigate unfamiliar challenges independently
Bonus Points:
- Experience in debugging, incident response, and system monitoring is highly desirable.
- Technical experience with Databricks or any similar Delta Lake platforms
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience with configuration systems (YAML, JSON)
- Experience with terraform
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Go, C#, or Java
- Familiarity with financial statements (e.g. balance sheets, income statements / PnL).
- Familiarity with Crypto trading (spot, DeFi, and derivatives)

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise.
