- Collaborate with Process Research Chemists to develop and optimize manufacturing processes that meet project objectives and business timelines.
- Support process scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot and manufacturing environments.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment performance to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Assist in recommending and implementing equipment modifications or upgrades to support process improvements.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and process evaluations while ensuring accurate documentation and data analysis.
- Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition through routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment by following established safety and quality procedures.
- Support troubleshooting and technical investigations related to process development and manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and experimental skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of reaction engineering, separation engineering, or chemical engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC, HPLC-MS, and NMR.
- Experience supporting process development, pilot plant, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with process scale-up and technology transfer activities.
- Experience within specialty chemicals, flavors & fragrances, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
