About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop reliable, cost-effective electronics for our next generation of laboratory automation and robotic systems. This role requires a strong foundation in system-level electrical design, wiring diagram, and cable assembly. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other engineering teams, as well as with suppliers and customers, to bring innovative products to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug electrical systems for lab automation products
- Create schematics, design electrical system wiring diagrams, and perform component selection
- Build and test prototypes including electrical sub-assemblies, cables, and supporting hardware
- Generate design documentation such as test plans, drawings, and specifications
- Participate in design and technical reviews
- Manage product development timelines
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams for requirements gathering, testing, and validation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience designing analog and digital circuitry, including schematic capture
- Basic understanding of motion control systems (motors, encoders, pneumatics)
- Familiarity with safety-related components including circuit breakers, PLC’s, E-Stop mechanisms, etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Location: Onsite, Beverly MA Office
Salary: $80,000-$90,000
