About the New York based Director FSA Funds opportunity:

This opportunity brings to life the CME development promise as “the destination of choice for bankers to work on market leading transactions and gain end to end execution skills”. The New York team is looking for a talented and driven team member to join them in delivering the right outcomes for some of C&IB’s largest clients and at the same time offer an opportunity to develop first class banking skills and strong technical and structuring expertise in a dynamic offshore market.

As one of four Associate Directors you will be a key team member who will drive the execution of market leading transactions.  This high performing team provides credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management for Funds Sector clients. As a deal lead, you will be responsible for partnering with Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams to deliver client deal execution activity.

This includes pre-deal support, credit structuring and insights, end-to-end credit execution and portfolio and risk management for NAB’s existing and targeted sector customers. You will play a fundamental role in expertly managing these responsibilities with key internal and external stakeholders with the objective of appropriately managing the Bank’s risk/reward and enabling NAB to maintain a strong market position.

Corporate Finance: Client Management & Execution (CME), FSA Funds

Corporate Finance is responsible for all financing activity in Corporate & Institutional Bank (C&IB). We manage the balance sheet for C&IB, while providing financing solutions for our Funds Sector clients. Our CME team partners with Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams to drive business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for clients.

What you will bring:

• Deep industry and technical expertise to deliver a variety of complex product solutions for our C&IB clients as well as exceptional risk management;
• Advanced inter-personal, written, analytical and numeracy skills and an ability to influence, engage and communicate effectively in a high performing team environment across clients and internal stakeholders;
• Utilise your strong people skills to coach, influence & deliver across a team of Associates, Senior Associates & Associate Directors;
• Comprehensive knowledge of the global and US financial markets and NAB product and service offerings relevant to all aspects of the Funds customer sector;
• Ability to identify, assess and mitigate potential and actual risks to the Funds sector and then articulate and negotiate complex borrowing structures across a broad range of Funds and Funds related industries;
• Ability to think strategically on the Funds and Funds related sectors, identifying broader macro trends and supporting the delivery of the Funds business plan whilst working in alignment with NAB’s risk appetite and guidelines.
