What you’ll be doing...

As an Associate Director, Technical  Project Management you will be leading the Technical Project Management (TPM), Quality Assurance Liaison and Testers for the Post Paid Reverse Inventory Management (IM), Monetization, xCIO & Third party Logistic vendors (3PL). You and your team ensure Verizon Consumer & B2B Business Supply Chain strategic project E2E delivery lifecycle for roadmaps, strategies and milestones are delivered on time and effectively for process and systems integrations between Verizon operations, technical teams, external partners and our 3PL warehouse vendors.

You will be partnering within Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability along with IT, solution providers, 3PLs and BSaI App Support teams in end-to-end management of strategic roadmap initiatives from requirements, design, testing, post hyper-care for BAU Support and knowledge transfer to ensure steady state systems and process stability. This role also requires you to strategically stakeholder and provide executive updates/readouts.

You will lead your TPM, QA Liaison and testing team in business process evolution on new or optimized processes supporting the end-to-end operations. Your team will have the responsibility to create or update processes, partnering with IT, 3PL and external to design and integrate the technology to support the business process.  When changes in technology tools are needed, your team will create the business requirements, work through design, testing, training and implementation for the needed solution. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third-party partners) to facilitate and deliver the business solutions needed.

  • Defining and guiding a team in a structured governance project lifecycle “Delivery Framework”.

  • Understanding operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability.

  • Leading executive statuses and updates at various levels.

  • Conducting, designing and building business process models based on best-in-class operations.

  • Identifying, owning, and driving resolutions to gaps in the lifecycle delivery processes.

  • Leading and guiding cross-functional, internal and external teams to create and deliver complex, integrated solutions to meet our business processes and requirements.

  • Creating and delivering training to end users.

  • Developing, training and transitioning to production support teams after implementation and stabilization.

  • Delivering executive readouts to ensure delivery alignment.


What we are looking for:

You are an effective and inspirational leader, able to engage and motivate cross functional teams to deliver outstanding performance. You have the business insight and executive presence to establish credibility with executive leaders (e.g., internally, externally, and partners) and guide the growth of a team to deliver on expectations, milestones, deliverables and solutions. As a business and technical leader you are able to explain how process and technology solutions can help solve everyday business opportunities in an effective manner. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can balance competing demands and priorities.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience supporting SAP tool suites (ECC, S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG).

  • Experience in leading cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions.

  • Experience managing large-scale programs with end-to-end accountability.

  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.

Even Better if you have:

  • Master’s degree.

  • Experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design and solutions.

  • Communication, organization, and negotiation skills with the ability to successfully work multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment.

  • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements.

  • Experience in communicating (written and verbal) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners in a simple, understandable manner.

  • Highly organized with an ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization and project management skills.

Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $126,000.00 - $242,000.00.
