Your Opportunity
As an Associate Director of Technical Product Management on the Fulfillment Execution Technology (FExT) team, you will lead a team of six TPMs across multiple fulfillment areas (Fresh, Frozen, Pharmacy, 1st and 2nd gen e-commerce). You'll be instrumental in turning strategic goals into actionable solutions, helping transform how we fulfill customer orders. This role sits within the FExT organization, collaborating with Engineering, Process Integration, and Support teams to deliver seamless execution.
Your focus will be on translating strategic visions into actionable plans, establishing processes, and fostering the growth of your TPM team. You'll ensure strong communication between business stakeholders and engineering, working to improve fulfillment speed and customer satisfaction. Your work will contribute directly to expanding Chewy's offerings and growing our customer base.
What You'll Do
- Data & Metrics Development: Lead data collection and KPI creation efforts to develop insights that drive business decisions. Use data to evaluate effectiveness, support a data-driven culture, and ensure initiatives are backed by quantitative insights.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of TPMs, supporting their professional growth and guiding them through impactful projects.
- Product Execution: Work with senior leadership to turn product vision into actionable plans. Set goals, prioritize tasks, and align efforts with the FExT team to meet business needs.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering, data science, analytics, and business operations to build systems and features that enhance fulfillment speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring FExT technology supports overall business goals.
- Product Ownership Support: Help TPMs manage their backlogs effectively, prioritize tasks, balance resources, and stay aligned with business objectives.
What You'll Need
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing metrics and KPIs.
- 7+ years of experience in technical product management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to gather requirements and design custom technical solutions for enterprise systems.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring TPMs.
- Experience developing standardized product management methodologies and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
- Experience in complex environments like e-commerce or logistics.
Bonus:
- Understanding of fulfillment or supply chain operations, particularly in e-commerce.
- Significant experience in analytical roles or working closely with highly analytical teams.
- Experience with WMS, WCS, automation technologies, and solution design.
The base salary range for this role is $159,000 - $254,500.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
