The Associate Director of Project Management will support Product and Platform Enablement. This strategic leadership role will guide cross-functional project teams to deliver innovative platform capabilities and products that support enterprise goals. The Associate Director will ensure project alignment with business objectives, champion DevOps governance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Leaders supporting product and platform implementation initiatives
- Provide strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex product and platform enablement initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, readiness milestones, and defined key performance indicators
- Oversee the development, management, and continuous optimization of integrated project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to ensure timely, on-scope delivery of high-impact initiatives.
- Establish and oversee governance frameworks and best practices for platform and product enablement, ensuring compliance with Humana’s security, regulatory, and quality standards
- Proactively monitor project performance, identify and mitigate risks, and deliver clear, strategic communications on status, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high performance by promoting collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably in technology, product development, or platform enablement.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and platform management.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of five or more.
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
