About The RoleThe Associate Director of Pricing Strategy & Operations is responsible for driving the execution and operational excellence of TRR's pricing strategy. This role serves as the connective tissue across pricing, merchandising, product / eng and operations to translate strategic initiatives into scalable processes and clear business requirements. This role drives the strategic and operational pricing roadmap by aligning cross-functional teams, removing execution bottlenecks, and balancing customer value with long-term business scalability. Success requires strong program management, systems thinking, and cross-team influence to deliver consistent pricing initiatives that yield measurable business impact.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Help define operational pricing roadmap (identifying dependencies, mitigating bottlenecks and ensuring cross-functional alignment from concept to execution) in order to fix the root cause, reducing errors, contacts and time-to-site

  • Oversee continuous competitive intelligence (tracking primary and secondary market prices as well as evaluating brand positioning) and identifying areas of opportunity 

  • Serve as the strategic quarterback for the Pricing organization using business analysis and customer insights to identify opportunities, uncover root causes and align cross-functional teams on the highest-impact actions - ensure solutions address business opportunities holistically

  • Direct our price request expert team responsible for delivering accurate, trust-building valuations that drive high value supply - help drive continuous improvement by integrating humans at right touchpoints with tech

  • Drive a holistic communication strategy for pricing across our entire experience - site, teams and tools; establish structured channels to gather qualitative feedback from market insight and consignor-facing teams (Luxury Managers, Retail Staff, Consignor Relations, etc) and integrate it with quantitative data to refine our pricing strategy

  • Develop & manage a diverse team - provide feedback, training, and coaching to further career growth

  • Create a team environment centered around collaboration, openness and learning

  • Be a positive role model for the team by fostering strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners (Merch, Planning, BSA, CR/CS, etc)

    What You Bring To The RoleMinimum Requirements:
    • 7+ years of proven success in merchandising, planning or related field in a high growth, fast-paced environment

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with G Suite & Looker a plus

    • Strong analytical, critical thinking & problem solving skills. Ability to relay verbal and written information concisely & effectively

    • Self-starter who can ramp up quickly and is excited to take on new challenges

    • Team player who is able to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple departments

    • Comfortable and confident making data driven recommendations

    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the only constant is change

    • Must have a passion for creative problem solving and insatiable curiosity

    The expected salary range for this role is $154,741.00-$198,953.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
