Role Overview

To drive business development processes in Singapore, create new business opportunity through driving new propositions, working closely with internal stakeholders (Pricing, Valuation, Finance, Underwriting and GFS) and contribute to achieving RGA’s financial target.

What you will do

  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and proactively manage client requests.
  • Work with clients to understand issues and develop potential solutions with a focus on reinsurance solutions
  • Assist in the pricing, modeling, risk analysis, and structuring activities on new or proposed solutions and present technical aspects both internally and externally.
  • Assist in risk management and operations personnel with monitoring experience of in-force treaties.
  • Perform research and analyze latest marketing/product trends in the Singapore market and present results internally and externally.
  • Support on other business matters and tasks as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related disciplines required
  • 5+ Years experience in a life insurance (including but not limited to Product Development, Product Pricing etc.), insurance consulting or reinsurance company required
  • Highly organized, solutions focused and delivery-orientated with the ability to work with multiple concurrent projects required
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others required
  • Strong client services ability with excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). required
  • Strong project management skills and ability to partner with internal & external stakeholders in a collaborative manner required
  • Strong critical and innovative thinking, with the ability to develop business insights required
  • FIA qualification or equivalent required
