Job Overview:
We are looking for an Industrial XR Designer to design and shape immersive AR, VR, and Mixed Reality experience for enterprise and industrial applications such as safety training, operational simulations, equipment visualization, and digital twins. This role emphasizes function-first immersive design, where accuracy, usability, clarity, and performance matter more than entertainment. You will work closely with XR developers, subject matter experts, and product teams to deliver production-ready XR solutions using platforms such as Unity Engine, Unreal Engine, and NVIDIA Omniverse.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Design immersive XR experiences representing real-world industrial environments, equipment, and workflows.
• Create, adapt, and optimize 3D assets and spatial layouts for real-time execution in Unity, Unreal, and Omniverse-based pipelines.
• Design spatial UI, interaction flows, and navigation tailored for enterprise and first-time XR users.
• Ensure visual accuracy, correct scale, ergonomics, and motion comfort across XR devices.
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to validate industrial accuracy and usability.
• Produce clear design documentation, asset requirements, and implementation guidelines.
XR & 3D Design Experience
• Proven experience delivering AR/VR/XR solutions for enterprise, industrial training, simulation, or technical visualization.
• Strong understanding of spatial design principles for immersive environments built on Unity, Unreal, or NVIDIA Omniverse.
3D Tools & Pipelines
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance).
• Experience preparing and optimizing assets for real-time XR engines and Omniverse-based digital twin workflows.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, 3D Animation, Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in 3D, XR, or real-time immersive design, with industrial or enterprise delivery exposure preferred.
