ANINE BING is looking for an Associate Designer, RTW to join the Design team in Los Angeles.

The Associate Designer, RTW will play a pivotal role in our design process, managing everything from seasonal sample archives to approving bulk submissions for production. 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The Associate Designer, RTW should have the ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and handle feedback with professionalism. Passionate about design and organized in their approach, this individual will help drive ANINE BING’s design excellence forward.

This role is based at our Los Angeles HQ, and reports to the Design Director.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Support Design director with design and developing the following categories - Tailored styles such as bottoms and blazers, Outerwear, Denim, Swim, Sunglasses and Soft Accessories.
• Will provide support in the following; tech packs, design, sketching, and weekly linesheet updates.

• Preliminary design research and assemble presentation boards for meetings.
• Attend and assist in fittings by updating design comments in the PLM system as well as sketch updates.

• Organize samples for milestones meetings.
• Extra hand with general design studio management and general tidiness and organization along with the rest of the team.

Requirements: 

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• 3 years of experience in a Women’s Contemporary brand.
• Tech savvy with expertise in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Garment sketching on the computer is a must. 
• Knowledge of creating tech packs, apparel construction and design.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a team player, have the ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiative.
• Denim experience is a plus

Compensation

• The anticipated base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000
