As a Senior Associate – Recruiting at JPMorganChase within the Data segment, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles spanning analytics, data science, data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning engineering, model risk and validation, and data product. You will partner closely with business leaders and functional partners to deliver consultative recruiting solutions, elevate candidate engagement, and support broader workforce planning initiatives. Success in this role requires building trusted relationships, translating technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies, and consistently delivering a diverse slate of high-caliber candidates.
Job Responsibilities- Lead full-lifecycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance for Data segment roles across multiple seniority levels.
- Conduct role intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers to define hiring profiles, interview plans, and assessment approaches.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for analytics, data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, applied research, and model governance and validation talent.
- Identify and present qualified candidates using structured evaluation, clear rationale, and consistent communication on strengths and gaps.
- Advise hiring managers on pipeline health, trade-offs, process momentum, and actions needed to deliver timely hiring outcomes.
- Educate candidates on role expectations, team mission, culture, and career opportunities to drive engagement and offer acceptance.
- Drive inclusive sourcing and slate-building strategies across roles, seniority levels, and talent markets.
- Analyze and share market insights (talent supply and demand, compensation trends, location considerations, and skill availability) to inform hiring decisions.
- Deliver recruiting projects such as market mapping, talent landscaping, pipeline building, and confidential searches for niche technical roles.
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent practical experience (confirm final education requirement for the posting).
- Minimum 6+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for analytics, data science, data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning engineering, applied research, and model risk or validation roles.
- Ability to translate technical role requirements into sourcing plans, screening approaches, and interview alignment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple searches simultaneously and prioritize against business needs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and advise leaders across seniority levels.
- Direct sourcing capability, including research, outreach, and passive candidate engagement.
- Working knowledge of compensation components and experience supporting complex offer negotiation.
