About the AIA Team and #LifeAtProofpoint as a AI Engineer

Proofpoint’s AI Accelarator team in Singapore is seeking a motivated AI Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge Machine Learning and NLP solutions in the cybersecurity domain. As a developer, you will collaborate on impactful data science projects, focusing on enhancing our threat detection, data classification, and automation capabilities through the implementation and optimization of the research solutions and the deployment to production. You will interact with our AI research team to build efficient and scalable workflows that uses LLM and other ML approaches for production.

You will work alongside a talented, cross-functional team that values innovation, agility, and technical excellence. Our engineers play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and solutions, and we are looking for curious, analytical, and collaborative individuals to help us tackle complex challenges.

Requirements and Behaviors

Technical skills

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries.
Understanding in Machine Learning, NLP, Statistical Modeling and LLM technologies
Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat detection, data privacy, or anomaly detection) is highly valued.

Soft skills

Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
Team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
Proactive attitude and a keen interest in cybersecurity, data governance, or AI ethics
