Associate Course Developer

Position Summary:

The Associate Course Developer will have expertise in design and development of eLearning courses and video simulations. They would work closely with the instructional designers, as well as the Instructional Technology team, to create and deliver industry leading curriculum through custom media developed to meet the needs of today’s mobile learners.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions:

• Prepare newly submitted Training Requests for CDK U Learning
• Take provided dealer employee lists and convert them for import into the LMS
• Create master Login document
• Assist with managing email requests for user creation, deactivations, learning assignments
• Extract and prepare various LMS reports for customer, coordination and learning delivery
• Follow-up with the customers and/or the relevant teams to fix/close cases related to training registrations/pending requests/issues.

Eligibility & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline
• 1 to 3 years’ of experience in developing course development, video simulations and infographics
• Expertise in eLearning development tools - Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, etc.
• Experience with video editing tools (Camtasia, SnagIt or similar)
• Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Experience with learning management systems
• Experience with design process, storyboarding, and project management when working with faculty to develop course elements
• Knowledge of applied pedagogy in instructional design technology
• Apply and adhere to the standards and styles defined
• Product and domain knowledge
• Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology and industry standards.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences in both verbal and written forms.
• Demonstrate understanding of copyright and accessibility requirements related to educational media content
