POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Contracts Analyst interfaces between Natera’s U.S. sales team and other functional areas, including its legal and compliance teams. This role focuses on the review, drafting, and management of contracts with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies. The individual is required to have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks specific to laboratory services and the healthcare industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Support Natera Sales with Vendor Registrations and Certifications.

Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, finance, and quality assurance to ensure contract alignment with business objectives.

Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties regarding contract terms and negotiations.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals.

Generate reports on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance for management review.

Assist in developing standardized contract templates and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Knowledge of commercial and legal contract terms with direct experience working with CLM systems strongly preferred.

2 years of experience in contract analysis or management, preferably within a laboratory, healthcare, or regulatory environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision.

Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and across functions, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work products.

Ability to formulate creative solutions to accomplish the company’s objectives.

Strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Excellent writing and editing skills.

Well organized, proactive and detail-oriented.

Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
