We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Cúram consultant. As a Junior Cúram Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Cúram software platform, which is widely used in social services, healthcare, and other government programs. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in social services, healthcare, and J2EE technology.Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate within a matrix team of consultants and technical SMEs to implement solutions that meet customer needs.
Engage with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Foster strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and customers, promoting Merative’s credibility as a trusted technical partner.
Design, develop, code, and test Cúram extensions in a JEE environment.
Expand your skills in areas such as Cúram implementation, mobile app development, reporting and analytics, cloud integration, data migration, web services, and application security.
Support workshops by understanding key business flows, documenting discussions and outcomes, and producing straightforward business requirements documentation.
Analyze moderately complex problems and propose practical solutions.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Proficiency in Java/JEE and XML development
Experience with REST and SOAP web services
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Hands-on experience with relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL
Knowledge of application servers such as WebSphere or WebLogic
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Minimum 2 years of experience in Java and JEE enterprise architecture
Familiarity with Rational Software Architect (RSA)
Understanding of XML and Eclipse IDE
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred
