The Associate Consultant is responsible for ensuring that IDBS customer satisfaction is maximized in relation to the use and deployment of IDBS’s cloud-based software by providing consulting and technical services support.

This position reports to the Regional Services Operations Manager and is part of the Global Professional Services team located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver successful product and project implementations by executing against agreed project plans and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Develop and customize customer-facing spreadsheets, templates, and configurations that support the effective use of IDBS solutions.
• Partner with customers to understand their business and scientific requirements, translate those needs into solution designs, and help optimize workflows.
• Contribute to successful project delivery through effective planning, task management, accurate time tracking, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and deliver high-quality outcomes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop and customize complex spreadsheets and templates
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic project environment
• Demonstrated organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage work independently
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve productivity, streamline processes, and reduce manual effort while maintaining appropriate governance and quality standards

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% including occasional overnight travel 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Previous lab experience in Biopharma domain
• General understanding of structured (Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) and unstructured data (text, csv, images and logs) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Understanding basic GxP(GLP, GMP and GCP) in regulations for biopharmaceutical and bio life sciences business is a plus.

Bonus / Incentive Pay

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
