Job Summary

This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating, researching, and responding to internal and external requests for compliance information. This role will help ensure that the company is completely and accurately responding to various requests from third-party stakeholders to demonstrate the Company’s compliance with applicable regulations and contractual obligations.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to internal and external requests for information
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Help manage various Exclusion List processes to ensure the Company doesn’t do business with or engage individuals who are prohibited from engaging in the Company’s business.
  • Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of compliance issues.
  • Maintain and review documentation necessary to maintain corporate standards.
  • Work with internal and external partners on compliance and business initiatives.
  • Participate in compliance projects, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Background in the insurance industry or compliance-related position preferred
  • Experience with CMS requirements and the health insurance industry preferred
  • Skilled in using computer applications, including MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to communicate well to both senior management and sales professionals.
  • Ability to build business partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize work appropriately to ensure we focus our resources on the highest-risk matters.
