Job Description Summary

The Client Consultant will have responsibility for driving client and product optimization across the TSYS Product Ecosystem for revenue expansion and deepened client engagement opportunities. Individuals will work closely with clients to optimize business processes using TSYS products.  This consultative approach will strengthen client relationships, drive revenue growth, and enhance cardholder satisfaction throughout the customer journey.

Candidates will help TSYS capture revenue through consulting and product adoption, ultimately delivering significant value to our clients. A successful candidate will think and operate like an issuing client that optimizes both portfolio and product engagement across the payment card lifecycle. 

Working Hybrid out of either Columbus, GA, Atlanta, GA or Alpharetta, GA offices.

$71,800 - $95,000
The above represents the expected range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST.

Job Specific Required Skills & Competencies

What Part Will You Play?

  • Works with the Customer Success team and Sales Managers to gain an understanding of client vision, portfolio performance, goals, and challenges.

  • Meet with existing clients to perform an initial assessment, discuss goals and strategize methods for improvement.

  • Collect data on clients current platform usage, settings, and configurations and translate this information to business outcomes.

  • Provides data-centric consultation to align client objectives into innovative solutions with TSYS products & services that provide value to the client and their cardholders.

  • Undertake assigned consultancy assignments for paying clients as well as work as part of a team on larger projects.

  • Collaborate with various teams to understand system settings and configurations to be able to share back to the client.

  • Skilled in analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing comprehensive business plans that deliver measurable results.

  • Prepare and presents relevant materials, models, and documentation.

  • Assist with the development of the discovery framework.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable of the financial services industry and credit card issuing. Knowledge of TSYS products and services, TS1 & TS2.

  • Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to teams and business stakeholders.

  • General knowledge of web technology, data structures, and data visualization.

  • Data analysis and visualization skills to bring business cases and opportunities to life for a client.

  • Ability to multitask, juggling multiple clients/projects and initiatives, strong prioritization and follow up skills. Prioritizes most urgent work. 

  • Applies proven solutions to client problems.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years relevant experience and/or working knowledge of the issuing and payment card business from both a card issuer perspective as well as a general understanding from the technology and processing side of the business   

  • Consulting or experience providing expert advice and solutions in areas such as strategy, technology, and operations

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent work experience, such as relevant technical background and/or work product/SME knowledge in lieu of a degree.
