Reporting to the Senior Director, Capital, we are looking for an Associate, Capital to implement efficient and effective systems that center a supportive, equity-centered experience for Echoing Green Fellows and alum.
What You’ll Do
As the Associate, Capital, you will lead key workstreams that include:
1. Supporting the Capital Department
- Support the development of training materials, emails, and other documents that are user-friendly, accessible, and free of typographical errors
- Improve on and maintain a system to organize departmental files, documents, and processes with uniform file-naming conventions
- Create, process, and track payment requests and contracts for Fellows, staff, and contractors
- Schedule and maintain calendar invites for internal and external team meetings
- Monitor Capital Department email inboxes and triage requests to the appropriate staff member, following up to ensure timely resolution
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information to prepare data for entry in Salesforce CRM database
- Assist in creation and dissemination of surveys using FormAssembly to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback on programs
- Assist with the maintenance of online application review systems, including SurveyMonkey Apply, FormAssembly, and Salesforce
2. Supporting the Programs Team and Broader Organization
- Support virtual and in-person team meetings and events, including booking meeting room and Zoom spaces, taking meeting notes, sharing action items, prepping supplies for meeting attendees, keeping time, etc.
- Support efficient and effective operations across the Programs team as needed/directed, including materials and meeting prep
- Travel likely 1-3 times annually to represent Echoing Green (both national and international locations)
What You’ll Bring
●Global Social Justice Focus: Thoughtful and open to learning about incorporating a global social justice lens into processes
●Tech Savvy and Organization: Skilled at organization and documentation of processes especially in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets); experience with or dedication to learning new tools (Salesforce, SurveyMonkey Apply)
●Sharp Prioritization: Adept at juggling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, global organization
●Detail-Oriented Communication: Attention to detail in written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels (e.g. senior staff, Fellows, external judges, peers)
●Human-Centered Approach: Commitment to collaboration, laughter, and candor for oneself and others in the workplace
Salary: $60,000/year
Echoing Green offers a full benefits package designed to support employee wellness. This includes:

This position will also require the employee to work from our office in New York City 2 days/a week and remotely 3 days/a week.
