Purpose of Position: The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) is a key player in the development and execution of marketing plans for assigned brands. This role is heavily focused on the planning and tactical execution of brand initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are implemented effectively and efficiently.


Position Overview: The Associate Brand Manager’s primary responsibilities include developing campaign strategies, effectively executing campaign strategies, managing key performance indicators that align with the overall brand strategy and working closely with external partners to ensure we’re aware of PR and Marketing opportunities. 


Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Market Analysis & Planning:
    • Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform marketing plans
    • Contribute to the development of marketing plans, including setting objectives, defining target audiences, and outlining communication strategies
    • Develop detailed tactical plans for marketing campaigns, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
       
  2. Campaign Execution:
    • Manage the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, social media, print, events)
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., creative, sales, new product development) to ensure seamless campaign implementation
    • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
       
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
    • Develop and maintain project timelines, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders
    • Identify and resolve project roadblocks, escalating issues as needed

       

  1. KPI & Budget Management:
    • Work with Director of Marketing and Marketing Analytics & Training Specialist to develop KPIs, report on them and make recommendations on how to improve
    • Develop and manage budgets for assigned projects and campaigns
    • Track expenses and ensure that spending aligns with approved budgets
       
  2. Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales and product development
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and campaign performance
       
  3. External Partnerships
    • Build strong relationships with external partners to identify PR and marketing opportunities that align with brand strategy.
    • Assist with determining KPIs for external partnerships to review on a quarterly basis.

This position is the "glue" of the team, successfully navigating cross-functional complexities to ensure campaigns launch without a hitch while proactively using KPIs to pivot and optimize performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing or a related field, with a focus on planning and execution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

 

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Frequently required to talk, hear, sit, twist, use hands/ fingers to push, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
  • Occasionally required to walk onto the manufacturing floor and wear PPE.
  • Travel as needed to attend trade shows and other company events.
