Job Description:
We're looking for an Associate Analytics Director, Social Marketing & Strategy to bring analytics, social intelligence, and performance measurement into the strategic process from the start. Reporting to the VP, Social Marketing & Strategy, this role will partner closely with Strategy, Account, Analytics, and Media teams to uncover insights, improve decision-making, and develop scalable solutions that elevate both client work and internal operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong social analytics expertise with strategic thinking and technical fluency. They understand how data is sourced, analyzed, automated, and translated into actionable stories that drive business impact across paid, owned, earned, and influencer channels.
Job Responsibilities
Integrate analytics, social listening, and consumer intelligence into strategic planning and campaign development.
Lead social listening initiatives, including trend identification, signal detection, conversation analysis, sentiment analysis, and cultural insight generation.
Develop scalable measurement frameworks, reporting processes, and KPI structures across paid, owned, earned, and influencer programs.
Build and enhance automated reporting solutions that deliver timely, actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Partner with data, analytics, and technology teams to improve data collection, reporting workflows, and dashboard capabilities.
Analyze social performance data and translate findings into clear recommendations that inform marketing and business decisions.
Create compelling client-ready presentations, dashboards, and executive-level summaries.
Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and data quality across ongoing and ad hoc deliverables.
Serve as a strategic, client-facing analytics lead, presenting insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes, operations, and the overall use of analytics across the organization.
Explore and implement AI-powered tools, large language models, and emerging technologies to enhance analytics, reporting, and insight generation.
Qualifications
7-9 years’ experience
Strong experience in social analytics, social listening, and performance measurement.
Experience analyzing earned, owned, paid, and influencer marketing performance.
Ability to identify trends, audience insights, and actionable recommendations from data.
Experience using social listening, analytics, and reporting tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Quid, Sprout Social, Tableau, and SQL.
Strong understanding of audience research and consumer insights using tools such as GWI, YouGov, or Telmar.
Experience building dashboards, reporting frameworks, and processes that improve decision-making.
Strong data storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
Comfortable distilling and presenting findings, implications, and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders in a dynamic way.
Proven ability to turn data into strategic insights and scalable solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agency or marketing environment.
Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to analytics.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,875-$138,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
