How you’ll make an impact:
- Ensure secure and efficient data management for the organization.
- Establish internal standards and policies for data collection, storage, processing, and disposal.
- Implement data usage and security protocols as directed by enterprise governance.
- Support daily operations when it comes to master data maintenance and data governance tasks
- Perform data creation, drive the data quality of master data across the domains in a region
- Collaborate with team members to identify data quality issues and problems, analyze them and provide solutions while using available information and follow standard practices and procedures, recommend and implement process improvements
- Support defining business terms and data quality rules
- Partner with regional team members and cross functional teams, to ensure that operations and processes are set up according to regional/global standards to ensure adherence to governance objectives and to resolve data issues
- Ad hoc duties
This position is a maternity cover contract for a duration of up to three years, with potential for permanent employment subject to business needs.
What you'll need (Required):
- University degree and prior experience in data governance/ master data management or other relevant.
- Professional fluency in English
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical skills and strict attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office, essentially strong knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge in SQL and/or any ERP system e.g. SAP or JDE and/ or Data quality/visualization tools is highly preferred
