Associate Analyst, Customer Admin

POSITION PROFILE
The Associate Analyst, Customer Administration utilizes Customer Master and/or Oracle Item Master and Configurator modules in support of various business requests within the scope of National Coding support, analyzing and solving problems whenever necessary.
The position relies heavily on knowledge of Oracle and advanced analytical skills in support of data integrity. This position develops solutions with a complete understanding of the functional business impacts of requested actions and proposed remedies.
Responsible for organizing, validating, and preparing files for electronic updates to Oracle Customer Master, Item Master, Oracle Configurator, and other systems.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes ownership of learning the software, systems, and processes necessary to support all National Coding and Customer Master team efforts.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with others as part of a problem-solving team dynamic.
- Develops skills and procedures for the use of systems and software to efficiently perform job duties.
- Works with employees and leadership across all business areas to obtain information that supports and places focus on accurate National Coding and Customer Master data.
- Uses analytical and process logic skills in the review of coding data, correcting processes and ensuring data accuracy.
- Performs analysis on all systems within National Coding or Customer Master, identifying areas of concern, possible corrective actions, and the impact of solutions on other business units.
- Applies documented processes to ensure project tasks are performed efficiently.
- Provides project management support and assists in the analysis, planning, and execution of plans within cross-functional short- and long-term projects.
- Processes daily reports in a timely manner for use by all National Coding and Customer Master team members.
- Ensures a focus on customer satisfaction and that the customer is integrated into all processes, decisions, and solutions.
- Assists the Manager in supporting the team mission.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience, and Certifications
Typically Required:
- 2 to 3 years of business experience.
Typically Preferred:
- Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a business-to-business environment.
- 1 year of Project Management experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Advanced Microsoft Access, Excel, and Oracle skills required.
- Industry knowledge helpful.
- Problem-solving and advanced analytical skills required.
- Strong teamwork skills required.
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise levels.
- Work assignments are diversified. Requires the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instructions, as well as prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.
- Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs., such as papers, books, files, and small parts.
- Requires moderate dexterity and regular application of basic skills, including use of a calculator, keyboard, hand tools, and eye/hand coordination.
