The Associate AI Specialist is an entry-level position designed for individuals passionate about artificial intelligence, data science, and computational problem-solving. This role supports the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions across business units, contributing to data preparation, model experimentation, and automation initiatives. Working closely with senior data scientists, engineers, and project managers, the Associate AI Specialist will gain hands-on experience in applying machine learning techniques, managing data workflows, and supporting AI projects from concept to execution.
This is a growth-oriented role ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in programming and computational methodology, and a strong desire to evolve into a full-fledged AI practitioner.
Responsibilities:• Assist in building, testing, and deploying AI models under guidance from senior team members• Support data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks for machine learning pipelines• Apply programming skills (e.g., Python, R) to automate data workflows and model evaluation• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions• Document experiments, model performance, and project outcomes clearly and concisely• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and learning sessions to enhance technical skills• Contribute to the development of internal tools and libraries for AI experimentation• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and best practices
Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field• 0-2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-related roles• Practitioner-level proficiency in programming (Python, R, or similar) and computational methodology• Learner-level understanding of statistical analysis, data cleaning techniques, and data management tools• Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills• Effective communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setting• Knowledge of SQL or other database systems is an advantage
