About The Position:

People Inc. is looking for an Associate Account Strategist for our Programmatic Team. Reporting to the Director, Account Strategy and working closely with the Executive Director, you will play an integral role in bringing our client’s campaigns to life and ensuring that we meet and exceed their goals. With your critical thinking, tenacity and analytical skills, you will partner with sales, marketing and ad operations pre-to-post-sale to ensure our PG & PMP advertising campaigns exceed performance goals. You will leverage your strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients to bring campaigns to life. You are a growth-oriented, positive self-starter that proactively uncovers ways we can improve our ad offerings and the service we provide clients. You are self-motivated and look for proactive ways to provide the best possible client service to ultimately grow our partnerships.

Hybrid 3x a week - New York, NY

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

About The Positions Contributions:

40% - Campaign strategy and planning: 

  • Make recommendations based on client KPIs and put together thoughtful, accurate, and timely media plans for all budget levels.

  • Forecast available ad inventory for proposals and evaluate inventory when proposals are closed in Google Ad Manager.

  • Complete People Inc and client media plan templates and spec sheets.

  • Provide performance reporting, wrap reports and identify incremental opportunities to help us win larger deals.

  • Navigate the proposal workflow efficiently and understand our product offerings.

10% - Cross Functional Execution & Implementation: 

  • Ensure campaigns are set up for success through flawless implementation in our order management system.

  • Work with Ad Operations to ensure clients’ ads are trafficked, monitored, and optimized.

  • Be a go-to resource for ad ops counterparts, collaborating to troubleshoot common delivery and performance issues.

  • Ensure that the client’s strategy is communicated, understood, and works across all teams to execute against client KPIs.

10% - Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Compile campaign reporting and metrics, fully owning campaign trackers.

  • Proactively keep management, the sales team, and clients advised of statuses on all components of current projects and campaigns.

  • Reconcile billing and campaign delivery on a monthly basis with internal and external teams.

  • Diligently monitoring campaign delivery and performance.

40% - Account Growth & Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other members of the Account Strategy team and internal stakeholders to drive growth with existing accounts.

  • Provide support for other Account Strategy team members as requested, helping to flawlessly execute campaigns for advertisers and agencies to drive revenue.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred and/or equivalent experience.
 

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience at a publisher or advertising agency

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager preferred

  • Knowledge of programmatic buying and execution a plus

  • Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with commitment to detail

  • Motivated problem solver who will proactively troubleshoot and create solutions

  • Skilled at identifying larger trends from your data analysis and developing actionable insights

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder who has a constant focus on customer success

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Driven to make things happen while always acting with integrity and respect for others

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $64,350.00 - $70,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
