Objective:

The primary function of an Associate Account Manager is to bridge the administrative and client service gap between Personal Lines Assistants and Personal Lines Account Managers. With direction from an Account Manager and/or Producer, these functions will include working with insurance carriers to process endorsements, retrieve policy coverage information, backup Account Managers, and provide regular superior customer service for client needs. Daily job functions will include special projects from Account Managers and/or Producers as they arise and require an ability to effectively balance multiple and competing priorities.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing and updating daily activities to stay current.
  • Assist with quoting and remarketing efforts for clients.
  • Process evidences & certificates of insurance.
  • Endorsement Processing.
  • Attaching all Correspondence in EPIC (Agency Management System) unless specified.
  • Back-up for Personal Lines Assistants and Account Managers as necessary.
  • Auto ID Cards.
  • Email and corresponding by phone with clients.
  • Unrouted attachments.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, letters, and mailings.
  • Scanning, photocopying, faxing duties as necessary.
  • Input new prospects and client information.
  • Process Personal Lines carrier docs.
  • Special Projects and other duties - as assigned.

Other responsibilities as directed:

  • Claim reporting and follow up as necessary.
  • NOC processing - non-renewals and non-paid as needed or when escalated.
  • Invoicing as necessary or when escalated.
  • Billing questions.
  • Obtain MVR/CLUE reports.
  • LPR processing.
  • Manual renewal processing.
  • Pull policies as necessary.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Requirements:

  • Education - High School graduate/GED.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products - particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of three years of relative industry working experience.
  • Must have an active insurance license.
  • Professional demeanor and behavior is required.
  • Must be organized and able to manage time effectively, in order to meet deadlines.
  • Must communicate effectively - spoken and written. Maintain effective communication in all forms, including email.
  • Must work well in a team-based environment and collaborate with peers.
