JOB TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION DETAILS:  Memphis, TN Headquarters

WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Central Time

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  Minimal travel will required to attend camp location site visits and meetings as required for the role.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As an Associate Account Manager, you will support Account Managers in coordinating camp logistics and managing relationships with camp partners. This role plays a key role in ensuring accurate execution and seamless communication across camp locations, internal sales, and operations teams.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to develop account management and operations experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED

  • Build a strong understanding of camp operations and develop expertise in executing successful summer camp experiences
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to support their portfolio of camp locations and ensure alignment on priorities and timelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in event management systems to support internal coordination and client success
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and camp partners to ensure timely and accurate information sharing
  • Support continuous improvement of processes and workflows across camp operations
  • Proactively identify potential issues and escalate or address them as appropriate
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-first environment by assisting across functions when needed

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support Account Managers in coordinating multiple camp locations simultaneously, ensuring alignment across logistics, housing, and communication
  • Prepare and manage event documentation, including rooming lists and event forms, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Take ownership of collecting event details by proactively following up with partners and internal teams, ensuring all required information is received completely and on time
  • Maintain and update data within Salesforce and other systems to ensure consistency and reliability of information
  • Communicate with camp hosts and internal stakeholders to provide updates, gather information, and meet established deadlines
  • Assist in managing location timelines and deliverables, ensuring all required details are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the successful execution of camps and events
  • Support special projects and additional initiatives led by Operations leadership

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Interest in building a long-term career with Varsity and a commitment to learning and development
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred  
    • You can hold a conversation at a party, explain how a smartphone works to grandparents, and know the difference between “your” and “you’re” – that is, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
    • You have above-average willpower and determination; self-discipline is required.
    • Enthusiasm and Positive energy are an absolute must. Team culture is built on the attitude of every member.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Preferred knowledge of the cheerleading and/or dance industry
