In this exciting role you'll provide our customers and prospects with a highly-responsive professional landing zone for inbound sales enquiries, and for converting these enquiries into sales conversations to be successfully closed. Specifically you will own:

Providing a rapid, professional customer response to all inbound leads and sales enquiries

Capturing and converting ‘street business’ opportunities as assigned by the regional Head of Sales.

First-Level lead qualification and conversion from lead to sales conversation to opportunity.

Progression through to completion 


Role responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a detailed (non-technical) knowledge of our products, specifications and applications in the field
  • Filtering out non-sales enquiries from the inbound flow of leads
  • Providing indicative pricing and product information to prospects and customers
  • Determining the best route to “close”
  • Maintaining our CRM to required standards of completeness, accuracy and currency 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • 2-3 years similar experience as an inside sales representative, SDR, or similar role
  • General technical knowledge of electronics or electro-mechanical devices would be an advantage
  • Proven track record in contributing to multiple sales pursuits
  • Experience of working in a lean, rapidly-growing organisation
  • General sales skills - Qualification, Discovery, Progression, Negotiation and Closure.
  • Strong PC literacy - Applications + Communications tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with solid written and verbal communication skills
