This position will play a key role in supporting innovation and strategic growth by ensuring accurate and compliant financial practices. This position focuses on core accounting responsibilities such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities, while also contributing to process improvements and cross-functional collaboration. How you´ll make an impact:
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of financial transactions and audits (e.g. SOX). And/or Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. 
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities. Collaborate with other departments to gather data and resolve accounting issues. 
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and system efficiency (e.g. participate in User Acceptance Testing). 
- Participate in training and stay updated on accounting standards and tools. 
What you´ll need (Required):
- Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting or related fields and 1 to 3 years of experience in General Accounting processes or related areas. 
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (JDE preferred) including Excel with general knowledge of accounts payable process and system (Coupa preferred). 
- Good understanding of international accounting principles (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS), local GAPP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). 
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 
- Experience in Business Centers as a plus. 
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills. 
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. 
- Strict attention to detail. 
- Ability to identify, report, and work on continuous financial process improvements based feedback. 
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels. 
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the department on specific projects. 
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
