Ridgeview Health Center is looking for an Assisted Living Director
Salary: Compensation for this role is base salary of approximately $102-107,000 annually plus a 15% bonus potential. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, Flex holidays and more!
The Assisted Living Director is responsible for the clinical regulatory compliance and daily care of assisted living. The Director is responsible for resident care and customer satisfaction including resident and families. The Director is responsible for the development and compliance with their annual departmental budget. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, discipline and supervision/monitoring of the direct care staff (caregivers, medication technicians, LVNs) according to regulatory compliance, employment laws, resident needs and company goals.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Administration
- Directs the operation according to company objectives, local, state and federal laws, codes and regulations, including applicable Department of Social Services.
- Assists Administrator to establish policies, procedures and programs to meet the needs of the residents and company goals.
- Responsible for performance management and results of department including but not limited to employee engagement and resident and family satisfaction.
- Promote STAR Core Values and Community initiatives.
- Establishes staff protocol for medication passes and resident care.
- Reports to the Administrator on the operation of the department and provides adequate data to allow administration to make decisions regarding the operation.
- Responsible for the development and compliance with annual department operating budget in cooperation with Administrator.
- Serves as a representative at resident and employee events.
- Prepares reports on deaths and unusual incidents to the State Department of Social Services for Administrator review and sign off.
- Accurately inputs and approves employee timecards in ADP Time and Attendance. Monitors accuracy of punches and attestation statements and counsels' employees with consistent errors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have current California RN/LVN license.
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to resident’s needs
- Knowledge and ability to conform to the applicable laws, rules, and regulations set forth by Department of Social Services.
- Current RCFE Administrator Certificate or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
- Ability to create, maintain, and supervise all records pertaining to residents and all employees under his/her direction.
- Two (2) years minimum college experience, at least three (3) years’ experience providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent experience and education as approved by State Licensing.
