The processes involve accounting & reporting work for Insurance Domain, preferably requiring the sound understanding of US/UK GAAP Reporting and BSCR reporting. The role also envisages review, preparation of various schedules required in statutory reporting. Professionals would be an individual working on high-end systems and various reporting software applications like Workiva, Oracle and Essbase/HFM for meeting their quarterly and annual deliverables.
This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise/ performing end-to-end review of the work performed/ establishing controls/ streamlining the process and developing domain knowledge of the offshore staff.
Responsibilities- Support quarterly/annual audits by internal auditors, as well as independent external auditors
- Participate or lead special projects, initiatives, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
- Understand & anticipate clients’ business needs/concerns, etc. & proactively resolve the same
- Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhanced controls
- Ensure adequacy of internal controls over statutory reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills Required
- Postgraduate degree
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or MBA qualification
- Sound understanding of US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting
- Understanding of BSCR reporting
- Experience with Workiva, Oracle, Essbase, or HFM reporting systems
