We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Systems Analyst to function as a Trade and FX technical SME within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that in charge of the Transaction Banking applications. For this role, the focus will be on trade (import/ export functions), supply chain financing and FX for corporate customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the application team and the business analysts to provide technical solutions that enable integration of systems involved in the processing lifecycle for import/ export trade products, supply chain finance including Foreign exchange requirements for these products.
  • Provide the technical solutions to connect systems based on the business requirements, taking into consideration, the volumes expected, the performance required, scalability of the solutions and adherence to any service level agreement committed to our customers.
  • Document the interface specifications of for inter-connectivity between applications.
  • Document the conceptual design and detailed design of the solution.
  • Liaise with the solution architect, enterprise architect and application team to come up with the solution design.
  • Provide inputs to the testing CoE team on scenarios, validations, configurations in the interface or application setup so it can be thoroughly tested.
  • Be involved during incidents to facilitate remediation of issues based on the technical understanding of the application and it’s integrated systems.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge based on documents related to application design and integration specifications (subject matter expertise)

Job Requirements:

  • Min 8 Years of experience as a systems analyst specializing in implementation of trade (traditional import/ export), supply chain financing solutions in APAC for the transaction banking business.
  • Experience in a systems analyst role in regional/ global system implementation for international and domestic trade solutions in other international banks and been part of the full lifecycle of the project from conception to post-production support.
  • Experience in a functional process flow for these products in the corporate banking space.
  • Experience in working with the business analysts, application teams, architects to come up with the solution design including integration between systems.
  • Experience in online, batch-based integration between systems using different type of connectivity protocols is required. High level of technical competency should be demonstrated.
  • Should have a strong, demonstrated working knowledge of API’s (internal and Open API’s) having implemented them in past experiences.
  • Should be well-versed with the security requirements for external API’s being published by the bank and to be consumed by the bank.
  • Practical experience working in a hybrid environment using on-premise and cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge in trouble-shooting issues raised during testing phase to qualify as a defect or a change and attributing severity of the issue.
  • Trouble-shooting skills also required during production incidents with an understanding of the criticality and severity of issues as per the business impact.

  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology
