Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Manager to join Workplace Technology team in Infrastructure & Operations organization. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise end user computing platforms, supporting 2,000+ staff in a hybrid workplace environment. The incumbent will collaborate closely within Workplace Technology and across functional Business and IT teams to deliver a diversified, secure and reliable workplace ecosystem for the future.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Chinese domestic vendor products on Office Automation (OA) technology and define enterprise workplace architecture in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the Proof-of-Concept testing and implementation of the target OA technology stack, across Operating System, Directory Services, Collaboration tools and endpoint management solutions.
  • Partner with Risk and Security teams to ensure compliance with HKEX standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with infrastructure and application teams on integration to enterprise workplace and virtual desktop platforms.
  • Drive pilot deployment, compatibility testing, risk assessment, rollout strategy and continuous improvement of the target OA platform based on user feedback and operational needs.
  • Manage vendor to ensure the highest quality delivery and implementation.
  • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to Level 1 and 2 support teams. Drive enhancement to key SOPs to improve end user support and vulnerability management targets as a team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in workplace technology, infrastructure, or endpoint engineering.
  • Proven experience in large-scale enterprise deployments or transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience on below OA technology stack:
    • Endpoint OS (e.g. Kylinsoft OS, Uniontech UOS) and device management tool (e.g. Leagsoft)
    • Identity and access management (e.g. Leagsoft, Nington)
    • Collaboration Tools (e.g. Lark, DingTalk, WeCom, WeLink)
    • Large-scale technology deployment or transformation projects
  • Familiarity with enterprise grade OA technology stack (e.g. Win11, AD, M365) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Shell script, Python, etc) to automate administrative tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, storage systems and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in IT Service Management / IT Operations Manager process with ServiceNow is added advantage.
  • Strong customer centric and result-oriented mindset.
  • Independent, self-motivated, a team player and willing to challenge status quo.
  • Ability to communicate and influence different levels of stakeholders and build consensus effectively.
  • Occasionally work on weekends and/or irregular working hours are required.
