What you will be doing:
- Act as a strategic data translator, bridging business and technology by converting complex data, AI/GenAI insights, and analytical outputs into clear, actionable business strategies
- Independently lead end-to-end data & analytics initiatives, incorporating predictive modeling, machine learning, and GenAI-driven analytics to support strategic decision-making and revenue growth
- Partner closely with regional and in-country stakeholders (Business Units, Product, Risk, etc.) to identify growth opportunities and strengthen risk controls
- Design, develop, and automate interactive dashboards and MIS using modern data visualization and scripting tools
- Build and scale data-driven products and AI-enabled solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with regional analytics teams to promote best analytical practices, and ensure consistent delivery across markets
- Support the design, validation and evolution of modern data architecture, ensuring scalable, governed, and high-quality data foundations
- Identify and integrate traditional and alternative data sources, and explore innovative use cases to unlock new business value
- Serve as a trusted analytics and AI advisor to senior stakeholders, translating data insights into business narratives, decisions, and measurable outcomes
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related disciplines
- Strong domain knowledge in SME and Corporate Banking, with understanding of customers, products, processes and market landscape
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relational databases, with hands-on experience developing analytical applications and automated reporting solutions
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and building intuitive, insight-driven dashboards
- Familiarity with modern data ecosystems, and experience in applying AI in business analytics is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, hands-on, and passionate about leveraging data / AI to drive measurable business impact

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics / data engineering or related area
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Experience with Hadoop, databases, DBT, Dagster, and Git
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, ETL, and automation
- Experience in dashboard development and Power BI (or similar tools)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
