We are seeking a talented individual to join our local Corporate Broking team at Marsh. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
We will count on you to:
Leads on personal accounts by setting goals and implements action plans, monitoring progress, assuring service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions.
Drafts essential comprehensive project documents intended for clients including: white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.
Conducts research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.
Conducts and refines data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
Addresses escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helps manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and applies judgement as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.
Offers technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.
Develops strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organization
Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
Coaches the team members through leading by example.
What you need to have:
Bachelor degree holder or above
Holder of ACII or ANZIIF is preferable
10+ years experience in broking/ general insurance industry
Good PC Skills, including Words (English and Chinese), Excel & Power Point
Ambitious, solution focus and strong skills in client and underwriters relationship management
Good Command of Chinese (Mandarin) and English
China working exposure will be a plus
