Role Overview
The Cards Product Manager will manage a selected portfolio of consumer, business and corporate card products, with responsibility for shaping propositions, driving portfolio performance and improving customer outcomes. The role will work cross-functionally to deliver relevant product capabilities, enhance customer journeys and support the Bank’s broader cards strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product plans for assigned consumer, business and corporate card products, including proposition development, feature enhancements and lifecycle initiatives.
- Manage key P&L levers for the assigned products, including revenue growth, cost discipline, pricing, risk-to-reward optimisation and business KPI delivery.
- Improve customers’ end-to-end experience across acquisition, onboarding, activation, usage, servicing, retention and renewal journeys.
- Partner with Business and Corporate Banking colleagues to identify client needs, shape relevant card propositions and deliver payment solutions for companies and their employees.
- Collaborate closely with Digital Banking, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Data and Finance teams to deliver product campaigns, enhancements and new capabilities.
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, including business requirements, approvals, implementation plans, risk management and post-launch tracking.
- Use market trends, customer insights, competitor activity and portfolio analytics to identify opportunities for product refreshes, usage growth and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in credit cards, payments, business and corporate cards, portfolio management or financial services product roles, preferably within a bank or payments-led organisation.
- Strong understanding of credit card products, business and corporate card solutions, portfolio economics, customer lifecycle management, card schemes and digital payment capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage P&L levers, define business requirements, translate customer needs into product and journey improvements, and drive outcomes through cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner senior stakeholders across Consumer Banking, Business and Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations and external partners.
- Customer-centric mindset with experience improving acquisition, onboarding, servicing, usage and retention journeys across physical and digital channels.
- Sound risk and control mindset, with awareness of regulatory and operational considerations.

Skills Required
