The successful candidate will play an integral role in all areas of our business pack product including sales, product development, pricing, planning & coordinate marketing activities with distribution channels.

  • Support the team lead with our business strategy to successfully propel AIG Business Pack into a significant and profitable long-term, sustainable leadership position in the APAC marketplace in support of the company’s ROE objectives over the long-term. This includes detailed monitoring standards / quality reviews to assess loss ratios and underwriting results.

  • Drive the AIG Business Pack vision and value proposition in close co-operation with Product leads that recognize changing business and competitive environment dynamics, key business drivers, and financial elements and demonstrate the value we bring to our clients.

  • Coordinating underwriting excellence for the specialty Business Pack products, by ensuring adherence to risk appetite, line setting, standards and guidelines, and establishing rating and pricing adequacy

  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction and development of the Business Pack portfolio, review of electronic trading platform (Transact) including business rules and rating algorithm and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Actuarial on creating and maintaining proper pricing tools and technique

  • Develop alternative distribution channels

  • Oversight of contractual documentation including policy wording sign-off

  • Ensuring accurate and timely production of management information for senior management

  • Ensure the required standards of governance, systems and controls, and regulatory compliance are established and maintained

  • Demonstrating understanding of regulatory and compliance processes

  • Driving collaborative behavior across the wider business

  • Drive a culture that promotes collaboration, diversity and inclusion
