The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lateral Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our Firm. This position will be based in our Chicago, Washington, D.C. or New York offices (hybrid). The Lateral Talent Acquisition Assistant provides support to the National Lateral Talent Acquisition team, assisting with all aspects of lateral recruiting.

  • Enters, distributes and updates lateral candidate interview schedules.
  • Maintains accurate candidate data within the applicant tracking system and related databases by tracking requisitions, monitoring candidate pipelines and generates correspondence with candidates.
  • Updates career page with Firmwide lateral searches.
  • Coordinates lateral candidate availability directly with Search Firm recruiters.
  • Runs Firmwide utilization reports upon request.
  • Maintains lateral candidate offer acceptance tracker.
  • Assists with updating lateral statistics.
  • Maintains Search Firm contact list and tracks Search Firm agreements.
  • Scans lateral recruiting related documents into internal records management system.
  • Handles due diligence items for lateral hires.
  • Circulates completed background and social media reports for review/clearance and adjudicates accordingly.
  • Processes placement fee invoices.
  • Circulates applicant submissions for review and decisions.
  • Handles downloads of new lateral hires into employee records system.
  • Prepares candidate hiring files for handoff to appropriate people teams.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn recruiter
  • Ability to understand, process and discuss basic vendor contracts
  • Ability to process expenses in an accurate and thorough manner
  • Ability to compile and draft statistics
  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of one year of related experience

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details.  Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details

Chicago $55,000 - $60,000; DC $58,000 - $63,000 and NY $60,000 - $65,000.
