Assistant Supervisor Logistics (Yee Lee Edible Oils Sdn. Bhd.) - Ipoh, Perak

This position is located at Lot 85, Jalan Portland, Tasek Industrial Estate, 31400 Ipoh, Perak. Please check the travel distance before confirming your application for the position.

Working hour: Monday to Saturday (8.00am to 4.45pm; lunch hour 11.45am-1.00pm)

Requirements:

1. Minimum of SPM qualification and above.

2. At least 2 years of working experience in a factory environment.

3. Strong leadership skills for managing subordinates.

4. Willingness to learn and perform general site work.

5. Proficiency in operating a forklift.

6. Prior onsite working experience or hands-on will be an added advantage.

7. Must have a normal BMI as need to be able to fit in a confined space (oil tanker) for cleaning session.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the loading and unloading operations of bulk oils tankers to and from designated storage tanks.

2. Ensure that the seals of incoming and outgoing tankers match the recorded information.

3. Monitor and assign tasks to operators at various workstations to ensure efficient operations.

4. Maintain a vigilant presence during the loading/unloading process while recording storage tank levels.

5. Educate operators on safety procedures and responsible for ensuring cleanliness in the work areas at all times.

6. Ensure operators strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety precautions.

7. Execute periodic cleaning of storage tanks as required.

8. Assist with weighbridge activities and the weighing of bulk lorries when necessary.
