As we move
into a phase of growth, owner-led and locally owned Capital Heating,
Cooling, Electric & Plumbing is seeking a highly driven, detail oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join a growing team across our HVAC,
Electrical, and Plumbing divisions. Unlike other companies in the field, our

role, you will be the operational heartbeat of our sales department, managing
daily field schedules, keeping communications seamless, and stepping up to oversee
direct customer interactions over the phone.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Logistics & Dispatch Tracking: Ensure technicians and sales
reps across HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing are where they need
to be, maintaining real-time accuracy across all field schedules.
- Team Communication & Alignment: Serve as the central point of
contact via internal messaging software (Slack) to keep multi-trade crews,
managers, and support staff coordinated throughout the day.
- System Management: Utilize our CRM software
(ServiceTitan) to monitor appointments, update customer accounts, track job
progress, and run daily sales reports.
- Customer Interaction: Confidently speak with
customers over the phone to handle schedule adjustments, follow up on open
multi-trade quotes, answer inquiries, and ensure 5-star service.
- Sales Meetings & Team Support: Play an active role in
preparing for and helping facilitate our twice-weekly sales meetings,
helping track metrics, review performance, and keep the team energized.
Key
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Sales Experience: Prior background in sales,
inside sales, or phone-based customer conversion preferred. Understanding basic
sales fundamentals and overcoming customer objections is a strong plus.
- Computer & Navigation Speed: Computer-literate with fast
typing skills and comfortable working efficiently across dual monitors to
multitask and navigate multiple open software windows simultaneously. (Prior
experience with ServiceTitan or Slack is a bonus, but we will train the right
candidate).
- Communication Skills: Excellent phone presence with
the ability to build immediate rapport with customers, handle objections, and
represent our HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing services professionally.
- Office Environment: Comfortable and effective
working in a collaborative, shared office space.
- Background & Screening: Ability to pass a
pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Multi-Tasking & Logistics: Ability to stay organized and
manage moving pieces across multiple service lines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing)
in a fast-paced environment.
- Mindset & Drive: High personal accountability, a
strong work ethic, and a natural ambition to exceed goals.
- Coachable: Highly receptive to feedback,
eager to learn trade specifics, and open to continuous professional
development.

Denver School of the Arts Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit fundraising and outreach organization supporting Denver School of the Arts, a tuition-free conservatory-model public secondary school.
