OVERVIEW
In this Assistant Project Manager (APM) Consultant role, you will provide support and assistance to the CAA ICON Project Managers, Directors and/or Executives throughout all stages of a large-scale sports and entertainment venue project, including permitting, design, construction, testing and handover. You will be responsible for document control, communications and all administrative functions to support the project team.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Provide technical and administrative support to Executives in the preparation of:
- Owner’s/Client Project Briefs
- Request for proposals (RFPs) for project consultants
- Client Reports and Presentations
- Client direct work package tenders
- Attend all regularly scheduled project and construction meetings (where necessary) and maintain minutes of all relevant project related meetings as required.
- Maintain project tracking logs including design compliance, risk and opportunity registers, open requests for information (RFIs), non-conformance registers and submittals to support positive project momentum.
- Assist in the preparation of each project monthly pay application for processing.
- Assist with document filing.
- Assist with meeting scheduling and logistics of the project team.
- Other project administration requirements required by the project or team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in the design, construction, engineering or a related services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (Ideally in construction, architecture, engineering, finance or like industry) and/or equivalent work experience.
- Detail-oriented, organised in thought, process and action, as well as creative, analytical and collaborative.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Multi-tasking and the ability to problem solve and master new concepts in a short period of time.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Project, Teams, OneDrive, PowerBI, Planner etc.) is a necessity.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or Bluebeam Revu software is beneficial.
- Proficient in Italian and English a necessity.
- Ability to assist with translation of documents between English and Italian.
