Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching a minimum workload equivalent to four 3-credit courses (12 contact hours) each semester (Fall and Spring), in person, but may be a maximum of 28 contact hours total across the two semesters when labs are included.
  • Advise up to 25 students.
  • Attend department, school, and college meetings.
  • Participate in accreditation and assessment processes.
  • Engage in professional development, scholarship, research, and/or publishing.
  • Assist in curriculum development.
  • Participate in department, school, and college service.
  • Maintain and post regular office hours.
  • Perform other duties as required and as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Endicott College Faculty Association (ECFA) and Endicott College.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in the engineering field, candidates with Civil/Environmental, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or interdisciplinary degrees are encouraged to apply.
  • Evidence of professional experience and/or ongoing scholarly activities (research, publications, presentations, PE licensure, etc.) that enhance teaching and deepen knowledge base in subject areas, and can involve students.
  • College-level teaching experience, with evidence of innovative methodologies in the classroom and laboratory.
  • Experience with ABET accreditation is valued.
  • Desire to work in a student-centered, teaching-oriented institution.
