Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and maintaining, migrating IIS and Apache webservers in MetLife infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to windows server environment
- Handle migrations, contact application partners, understand requirement, and build infrastructure
- Plan application interconnections, database connectivity and website domain creation
- Install/update required software or drivers on servers
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce human errors
- Develop and maintain AzDo pipelines using YAML
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and mitigate issues
- Proficiency in scription language like PowerShell
- Basic Linux server administration knowledge
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce human errors
- Should be able to utilize ServiceNow in Change management, Incident management, Catalog task management, Problem management
- Learn new technologies based on demand.
- Participate in cross-departmental efforts Leads initiatives within the community of practice
- Good decision-making skills.
- Take ownership for the deliverables from the entire team
- Should be able to generate and present reports to leadership
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally
- Willing to work in rotational shifts
- Good Communication skill with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience
- 10+ years of total experience and at least 7+ years of experience in maintaining, migrating IIS and Apache webservers
- Resolve issues related to windows server environment
- Work with application partners to understand the requirement and build infrastructure
- Experience in installing and updating required software or drivers on servers
- Good knowledge of Azure Pipelines using YAML. T roubleshoot and mitigate pipeline issues
