About the role

To ensure the GST and TDS compliance of requirements under the various taxation laws viz. Goods & Services Tax and Tax Deduction/Collection at Source for all GSTIN’s and accounting for the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely payment and returns of the taxes to Govt. under the following laws for 15 Registration:
  • Goods & Services Tax
  • Tax Deduction at source under different categories
  • Tax Collection at Source
• Availing correct set off available under the above said laws to maximise the benefits available to the company.
• Timely submission of all returns under the above said laws ensuring that they are accurate so that their assessments are completed without any demands.
• Accounting of the statutory liabilities, payments, and provision for disputed liabilities.
• Support the Internal, External, Statutory and Periodic Audit by providing information on time.
• Implement the changes in the processes to comply with regulatory changes and ensure tax compliance
• Close coordination with sites/other verticals for effective compliance providing them with the reconciliation of all taxes payable and set offs available as well as schedules and MIS in respect of these activities.
• Compliance of Income Tax Act with respect to deduction of Tax and Collection of Tax
• Ensure accurate computation of Tax liability for the organization direct and indirect
• Ensure end to end GST reconciliation / GST credit matching of all registration.
• Administer reconciliation for GST credit and annual audit.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

• Commerce Post Graduate/CA with 5-6 Yrs of relevant experience
• Taxation -Direct & Indirect Tax
• To ensure Tax & Statutory Compliance
• To ensure the compliance of requirements under the various taxation laws
• Independent decision making.
• Through Knowledge of SAP/ERP modules.
• Liaison with Govt. authorities/other vertical for taxation activities.
