• Drive the execution of CIB’s strategic agenda by delivering deep business insights, rigorous performance analysis, and high-impact decision support to the Head of Business Management and Strategy and the CIB Leadership. This role serves as a key enabler of strategic performance planning, operational excellence, and data-driven execution by translating financial and market intelligence into actionable priorities.• You will lead the coordination of management information, monitor market dynamics, and support strategic project delivery—ensuring the business remains competitive, client-focused, and results-oriented. Job Description
Strategic Management Information & Business Intelligence
Ensure the integrity, scalability, and optimisation of the CIB data infrastructure, enabling accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support strategic and performance objectives.
Lead the end-to-end management reporting agenda—including pipeline analytics, client and RM-level MI (MyMI), and Salesforce data—by transforming raw inputs into meaningful business intelligence and performance levers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and embed advanced performance tracking frameworks that support early risk detection and uncover commercial growth opportunities.
Oversee the development and continuous refinement of standardised scorecards and performance dashboards, driving alignment, consistency, and insight-led decision-making across business units.
Co-create high-impact strategic presentations and briefing materials for CIB leadership and key stakeholders, enabling forward-looking, insight-driven discussions and performance reviews.
Competition & Economic Analysis
Conduct comprehensive analysis of publicly available market data and financial disclosures of local and regional banks, producing insights that benchmark CIB’s position and inform strategic positioning.
Lead the preparation of banking industry peer reviews, identifying structural trends, business model shifts, and emerging risks across the domestic and international corporate banking landscape.
Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to interpret the impact of macroeconomic developments, providing pragmatic recommendations on strategic actions such as product focus, or client segmentation.
Drive competitor benchmarking exercises that not only assess relative performance but also surface product gaps, pricing trends, and untapped commercial opportunities.
Operational Support & Executive Assistance
Enhance departmental efficiency by supporting procurement coordination and executing a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Embrace and tackle any spontaneous requests with a can-do attitude, showcasing willingness to go the extra mile and support the team's achievements.
Provide valuable assistance to the Head of Function by managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities and maintaining an organized calendar.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of commercial and financial dynamics, an analytically strong professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, accounting, or audit. They bring a solid foundation in business performance analysis, market intelligence, and strategic project execution, combined with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence senior decision-making.
They are a degree holder, and either possess a professional accountancy qualification or are actively studying towards one.
Skilled in navigating large data sets, with hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance measurement, the candidate demonstrates fluency in using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI). They are equally comfortable presenting to executives or supporting front-line teams with high-impact analytics.
The candidate is a proactive executor—able to juggle competing priorities, balance precision with pace and work effectively across functions. They bring a structured and continuous improvement mindset to everything they do.
