The Communications team at Grab is dedicated to sharing Grab's story with the world. Whether engaging with media, online influencers, industry commentators, or the broader community, our team represents the voice of Grab, shaping the brand's narrative and building its reputation.
Get to Know the Role
As the Assistant Manager of Public Relations in the Philippines, you will drive proactive public relations campaigns to enhance Grab's brand and reputation. Your efforts will strengthen Grab's position as the leading everyday super app and ensure that our brand is relatable to customers. You'll lead programs that align with our vision and goals, engaging with partners to create compelling narratives.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Public Relations. The role will be based onsite at our Ortigas Grab office.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- You will develop PR Programs by managing PR programs that align with ours vision and goals.
- You will seek and promote stories to attract positive publicity for Grab.
- You will oversee media and influencer engagement to build stronger advocacy for Grab. Oversee the PR agency's activities, ensuring agreement on budget and our requirements.
- You will craft content formats for stakeholders, including executives, media, and influencers.
- You will identify potential issues and manage crises to reduce impact on Grab's brand.
- You will maintain relationships with Grab's key partners and manage their public profiles.
Qualifications
What Skills You will Need
- 8+ years of experience in public relations, with both corporate and consumer PR.
- Experience growing connections and maintaining relationships with media networks, media outlet, influencers, and key public figures.
- Experience creating multi-format content tailored to different media and communication outlet.
- Handle crises where you can develop strategies to reduce negative impact to our organization.
- Proficiency in analyzing PR performance data to guide planning and strategy.
